Hazardous Waste in Your House?

As DIY home improvement projects skyrocket, many people are left wondering:  What do I do with the leftover paint?  Or, what should I do with the old CFLs now that I replaced them with LEDs? 

Even if you haven't finished a remodeling project, it's very likely your home contains hazardous materials.  Batteries, lightbulbs, mercury thermometers, paint and pesticides are just a few, common hazardous products in the average home.  And don't forget about mercury thermostats!
