TRC Hiring Operations and Marketing Coordinator

The Thermostat Recycling Corporation (TRC) in Alexandria, VA is seeking candidates for the position of Operations and Marketing Coordinator. The position involves supporting TRC’s operations and assisting with the implementation of its marketing plan.  The coordinator will support program implementation, including some accounting and other administrative duties. The Coordinator will also be responsible for implementing aspects of a national marketing/communications strategy to increase awareness of TRC and its national mercury-switch thermostat collection program.  Interaction with state regulatory agency staff, environmental advocates, and corporate representatives is required.

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree, along with 1-3 years of experience.  Solid administrative, communication and writing skills are required. Applicants with customer service experience are highly desirable. Some travel may be required.  Previous experience with foundations, trade associations or other non-profits is also helpful.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
